At the beginning of this century, the development of stainless steel plate has laid an important material and technological foundation for the development of modern industry and scientific and technological progress. There are many kinds of stainless steel plate, which are different in performance.
The commonly used classification method is according to the structure characteristics and the chemical composition characteristics of the steel plate and the combination of the two methods. Generally divided into martensite stainless steel plate, ferritic stainless steel plate, austenitic stainless steel plate, duplex stainless steel plate and precipitation hardening stainless steel plate or divided into two major categories of nickel chromium stainless steel plate and stainless steel plate. In order to ensure that all kinds of stainless steel yield strength, tensile strength, elongation and hardness and other mechanical properties conform to the requirements, prior to delivery steel after annealing, solid solution treatment, aging treatment and heat treatment. Corrosion resistance of stainless steel plate mainly depends on its alloy composition (chromium, nickel, titanium, silicon, aluminum, manganese, etc.) and internal organizational structure.
Stainless steel plate surface is clean, with high plasticity, toughness and mechanical strength, acid, alkaline gas, solution and other media corrosion. It is a kind of alloy steel which is not easy to rust, but it is not rust free. Below is a brief overview of the performance of stainless steel:
l Corrosion resistance
The stainless steel plate has the ability to resist the general corrosion of the unstable nickel chromium alloy 304. The extent of chromium carbide may be affected in poor corrosive medium.
l High temperature oxidation resistance
Stainless steel plates has high temperature oxidation resistance, but the oxidation rate is influenced by the exposure environment and the product form and other inherent factors.
l Physical properties
The total heat transfer coefficient of the metal depends on other factors besides the thermal conductivity of the metal. In most cases, the film's heat dissipation coefficient, rust skin and metal surface conditions. Stainless steel keeps its surface clean, so its heat transfer is better than other metals with higher thermal conductivity.
