Product Features

Thermosetting anticorrosion epoxy powder coating and fusion bonded epoxy powder coating, referred to as fusion bonded epoxy powder. It is a kind of solid coating which is transported and dispersed with air as its carrier. It is applied to the surface of steel products which were preheated, then after melting, leveling and curing to form a uniform coating. The resin and hardener components in the dry powder FBE stock remain unreacted at normal storage conditions. At typical coating application temperatures, usually in the range of 180 to 250 °C (356 to 482 °F), the contents of the powder melt and transform to a liquid form. The liquid FBE film wets and flows onto the steel surface on which it is applied, and soon becomes a solid coating by chemical cross-linking, assisted by heat. This process is known as “fusion bonding”, that is the reason for it be named as Fusion Bonding Epoxy Coatings, referred to as FBE.  

 

Each particle of the fused epoxy powder uniformly contains all the components so that the coating operation process and the coating formed have a continuous and stable uniformity. There is no "three wastes" pollution in the process of epoxy powder coating. It is an environment friendly coating.
